Three Perfect Liars will take you on a journey into the lives of three women. Laura - new mother, returning to work after 6 month maternity leave. Mia - Laura's "temporary" replacement while on maternity leave. Janie - wife of the company's owner, Harry. The story begins with the office building burning to the ground and flashes backward to the day of Laura's return from maternity leave. The story is also told through transcripts of the police interviews. Which one of these women could have started the fire?!?
I loved this story and how you're left in the dark throughout the majority of the book. It is very well written and keeps you turning pages. I thoroughly enjoyed how all the peoples perspectives were woven into the retelling by the police interviews and the complexities surrounding how everyone's lives were entwined.
I look forward to checking out more of Heidi Perks's books.
