I want to really like these romances set in academia, but I just think sometimes it's too much. It's a very interesting counter culture, but I found myself spacing out at times because it was just sooooo heavy on the physics related content.
I did think the Jack/Elsie relationship was sweet, albeit, bizarre at times. And the quirky sidekick friend was toooooo much.
One thing I did absolutely love was the Adam and Olive cameo. It was great to get a little update after the conclusion of The Love Hypothesis.
I thought this was a nice story that wrapped up a nice, yet predictable, storyline. But after all, that's why I read these after finishing fantasy books, for their predictability.
Definitely read The Love Hypothesis before this one so the cameo makes sense and know if scientific heavy content bores you, this might not be the book for you.
