Act Your Age, Eve Brown by Talia Hibbert

3.0

I'm a little sad this journey with the Brown sisters has come to an end. I will surely miss all of them. And no, these are not tears welling up in my eye.

"Act Your Age, Eve Brown" is the final book in the series and just as cute and adorable as its predecessors. I didn't love it as much as I loved "Take a Hint, Dani Brown", but I liked it a little more than "Get a Life, Chloe Brown". The ingredients are virtually the same: a super likeable main character, a charming and totally non-toxic male interest and a super sweet romance. This one, however, didn't have that x-factor that I had found in the previous book and the banter-y romance between Eve and Jacob wasn't really my thing. I also thought that the final conflict wasn't that well-crafted - conflicts, overall, are Hibbert's great (and perhaps only?) weakness.

I will obviously stay on the lookout for Hibbert's next publication! I personally wouldn't mind an expansion on the "Brown Sisters" universe.
