When it hits, it HITS. When it’s slow, it’s slllooooowwwww.

The aesthetic of the series is everything. The settings and lore are amazing.

But there’s just not enough WHY. Like why do they want humans to be slaves? They are faeries and have houses that can cater to them without servants. I don’t get what we’re going to war over. I love the characters and I’m here for them. But I literally don’t get what everyone is fussing over? Other than it just seems like the King wants more territory. But like why though? I’m just bored of the enemy and don’t find him very complex.

Rhysand and feyre’s development from trauma was the best part of the book and a slow burn. I wish Tik Tok hadn’t spoiled their arc for me because if I had gone in blind I might have not felt like it was so slow.
