This is definitely for lovers of Vampire Academy and anyone who shipped Rose and Lissa.  There were mysteries and plot twists not only built into the school but vampires themselves with their lore. I related to Taylor as being treated with her previous relationship as a dirty little secret.

I also loved Cat's queer awakening while unwrapping past thoughts.

This is definitely a slow build with the love story, but with the things going on as well as back story dragged me in.
