The Julian Chapter by R.J. Palacio
5.0

9 out of 10
So first of all I actually bought it, started reading and finished the book in 4 hours or less.

When I read Wonder I kind of missed Julian's POV. I really liked this book even if it is short I think I don't need anything else about Julian.
The book is divided in two parts: the first one about the year August came to the Beecher Prep and the second part about the summer.

Julian is the one who bullies August and the one that doesn't understand what he's doing. This story is original because usually we don't read about the bully and his/her struggles.
The book (as I expected) teaches a lot of things like there's an answer to why he is a bully, he suffers from anxiety (but he doesn't really know) and because of August his world has changed negatively.

SpoilerMy favorite part is the one when Julian realize what he was doing to August thanks to his grandmother. That chapter where everything changes: Julian understands and his mother takes a step back.
