Nick and Sam. Everyone should know by now that these books need to be read in order starting with The Fatal Series. So every review will hold spoilers. Since we are 20+ books in at this point, there are a few things I took issue with.

Most of all of these books I gave a 5 star. I have loved them. There are quite a few things that are getting repetitive now. It’s not a stand alone so we really shouldn’t need some of the back stories anymore.

I agree with many, that this book went too far. There was so much to take in. We read for fun and entertainment and this book was agony. Just a little too much.

As much as I love Sam, I also am stating to get a bit irritated with her. She talks about how all the men in the department don’t like or respect her but she is very short with them and others as well. She shows up at peoples houses, that just lost their family member, and is short and snappy when they see her or want to question her. Who would not question what the intent is?

Then the biggest issue…you are never home! Other people work in that department and it is not vital that you work on every single case. The Littles are going to be bed or are in bed when you get home every night. You are always late to every thing to do with your family or your husband but can get to work on time with no problem. Priorities!!

I do love this collection, but please read some of the reviews, as it will not take much to turn this back around, get back on track and continue the great series.
