The Book of Cin by H.M. Wolfe, H.M. Wolfe
4.0

I went in to this book only knowing that it was a debut romantasy novel, so I wanted to jump right in to support a new author!

This story follows Hyacinth through an emotional journey of healing and learning to love herself while her world gets turned upside down. It showcases the complexities of different relationships, but I really enjoyed the friendships she has with her found family. We get hidden magic, lovers to enemies, and slow burn tension with our MMC who has major “touch her and die” vibes.

There was a lot of world building throughout the book so I’m excited to see where book 2 goes with it!
