High School by Tegan Quin, Sara Quin

4.0

First of all, I highly recommend the audiobook version as it is read by the authors and includes excerpts of actual recordings of music and interviews with Tegan and Sara. I really enjoyed this read and listened after hearing the hilarious and heartfelt podcast with MUNA. The story is a coming of age, detailing the four turbulent high school years of Tegan and Sara. This memoir is raw and goes into the mindsets and feelings, taking you back to exactly how they felt. I am excited to watch the TV show and listen to more of their music. I was a casual fan before, but now I can't wait to listen to more. No need to be familiar with their music or story before. The banter between the sisters during the ending was also 10/10.
