The Hoodlum Army by Elizabeth Roderick

5.0

This is a romcom re-telling of Robin Hood, but not one that plays it straight. The two main characters have an assortment of friends, stalkers, and enemies, but not a moment of boredom. One of the best things is that odd behavior doesn't tell you who's good and who's bad. It's clear quickly why we'd root for the MCs, but the side characters' motives are sometimes ambiguous (like real people's are), and in a world of thieves and those they come in contact with, only a few can be trusted.
