I was not the target age for Britney when I was a kid, but my sister was. I can remember the hate surrounding her, and so in the back of my mind there was always that thought, “was she terrible?” No. The answer is no. This was a gorgeous book, and while it did have “juvenile” writing, I felt that it just made it more real and down to earth.
