Nightwing, Vol. 1: Leaping into the Light by Tom Taylor

I decided to skip the ‘Ric’ stories and fast forward to Tom Taylor’s run here. The most notable aspect of this collection is without a doubt Bruno Redondo’s phenomenal art bringing Nightwing to life in such a unique and dynamic way. I love to see the action scenes where you can trace Dick’s movements across panels. I like Dick and Babs together, and obviously am gushing about the addition of Haley the pup. But I have to dock this story a star for needless soap opera-y nonsense. Still, I’m interested to see where the story goes with Dick’s new initiative with the Pennyworth Foundation. Only, I don’t read a lot of Batman and have no idea what happened to Alfred… Oh well.
