This is the second book in Caselli family series. Don is a playboy with his heart set on Kennedy, an employee, that Menace has forbidden him to have a relationship with. Kennedy isn’t sure what she wants. Meeting Navy while Kennedy is indecisive causes Don to reevaluate his expectations. Both he and Navy are tired of living to please others. Their friendship allows them a safe space to be vulnerable and transparent.
The fact that the whole Caselli family says inappropriate things when others respond in a way they aren’t anticipating is hilarious. I will never hear wench again and not die laughing. This book was emotional and funny.
