It wasn’t absolutely terrible but it didn't need to be as long as it was and the writing style was putting me to sleep. Tbh, I didn't care much about Hal and I knew the twists despite all the discombobulated efforts done here. So this book wasted my time and now the more I think about it I feel I'm getting mad lol but after summarizing it to my mom I realized it's not that bad either lmao? Idk it's conflicting. Not a positive introduction to Ruth Ware for me much, though.
