The writing style is very challenging in a good way, the slips into a poetic style really worked for me in creating a vibe and reminding me of the whirlwind of youth. Also this book made me want to throw up many times, just some of the absolute worst stuff you can imagine plot-wise. Proceed with extreme caution, but it is beautifully written.
