This book taught me a valuable lesson: to trust my gut. I knew deep down this wasn't for me, but my hopeful side wanted to believe this book could redeem the whole series. Jules and Josh's story was unfolding beautifully—no more narrative pitfalls diminishing their emotional connection, nor any forced moments. I thought, "Finally! A believable relationship progression." But then, the conflict happened—ugh (at about 74% of the book), I cringe just thinking about it. It could've been avoided in so many ways, and it felt completely out of character for them. It was like they threw it in for drama's sake. I ended up hating Josh. 

So yeah, I'm disappointed. Twisted Hate didn't meet my expectations, but it's still the best in the series so far, in my opinion. As for the last one? I don't think I'll be picking it up. I just can't do it.

Este libro me enseñó una super lección: el confiar en mi instinto. Sabía que esto no era para mí, pero un lado de mi quería creer que este libro podría redimir toda la serie. La historia de Jules y Josh se desarrolló maravillosamente, en este libro no hubieron muchas lagunas narrativas que disminuyeran su conexión emocional, ni momentos forzados. Pensé, "¡Finalmente! Una progresión amorosa creíble". Pero llegó el conflicto, ugh (alrededor del 74% del libro). El conflicto pudo haberse evitado de tantas maneras, y sentí que “la solucion”  fue completamente fuera de carácter para los personajes. Fue como si agregaran esa parte de la historia por el simple hecho de tener drama. Terminé odiando a Josh. 

Así que sí, estoy decepcionada. Twisted Hate no cumplió mis expectativas, pero en mi opinión, sigue siendo el mejor libro de la serie hasta ahora. En cuanto al último libro Twisted Lies, no creo que lo voy a leer. Simplemente no puedo hacerlo.
