I have complicated feelings about this book. So much happened that the character development felt all over the place. However, I appreciate that there was another trilogy after the first one ended, as it allowed for more growth and new challenges for the cast. Still, it sometimes felt overwhelming, and some characters seemed to regress in their development from the previous series. Hopefully, the next two books in this series will address these issues.

Despite some predictable elements, the plot remains interesting. I'm eager to see how the story unfolds, so kudos to the author for keeping me hooked with the intriguing narrative.
