I ended up picking this up from the library after reading Waite's SFF novella with an older lesbian main character, and now I'm reading the rest of her books while I'm at it. This was a genuinely sweet romance novel with two Regency lesbians trying to figure their shit out while one of them is running a heist on a shitty capitalist to protect her craftmaking community, and the other suspects her of sinister motivations. (All does eventually come out and we get an interesting reason for why the one doesn't like swindlers, and we get to see a neat heist of sorts while we're at it.) Definitely worth your time.
