Bloody Heart by Sophie Lark
4.0

Finally, it’s Dante’s turn—and his story is as intense and emotionally loaded as expected. This is a second chance romance that doesn’t hold back. The connection between Dante and Simone is deep, complicated, and honestly, a little heartbreaking.

The flashbacks gave helpful context, but there were times I found myself wishing we could just stay in the present to watch all that tension finally boil over. And speaking of tension—yes, the spice lives up to the hype. There’s one scene involving a belt that’s going to live in my head for a long time.

Dante is emotionally closed-off but fiercely loyal, and they don't let each other off easy. Watching them navigate their messy past and try to build something new made for a gripping read.

Not a perfect book, but a strong one. Raw, steamy, and satisfying.
