The Unexpected Guest by Charles Osborne, Agatha Christie

3.0

This book is a good read for those who love mystery. It's cozy in the sense that it's an older novel, so it's not shockingly twisted and disturbed but it's still captivating enough to keep the reader wondering until the end. I would have rated it four stars but there is a major plot point that just didn't sit well with me as it's a damaging stereotype. Even though it's a novel written in a different time, for me reading it in today's time it made the experience a bit unpleasant in places.
