The Chase
by Candice Fox
Candice Fox truly can do no wrong in my mind.
Another gripping read by this author which has you hooked from the beginning. Candice has a wonderful way of weaving multiple narratives together without it feeling confusing or clunky to read. I loved the interconnectedness of each of the big killer’s narratives, whilst also slowing unravelling the two main character’s pasts.
Despite the multiple storylines and strong characters, everything was wrapped up so neatly and no stone was left unturned. I surprisingly loved the ending for one character in particular, Axe, which was left a little open to the imagination.
