The Gunslinger by Stephen King

I devoured this book. This is not usually my preferred genre, but even after reading just the first book I understand why many people feel like this series is Stephen King’s magnum opus. The imagery, and writing style is Stephen King at his best. It hooked me from the very beginning. I’m invested now, and can’t wait to read the other books.
