The main character in this book annoyed me. Maybe it's because I'm so different from her -- much too thrifty to let shopping be my vice -- so perhaps others would enjoy it more. I also thought she was a financial idiot, but I pride myself on my financial health. I did find myself curious at the end of the book as to what happens to her in the future, since I had seen that the shopaholic gets married and has a baby, based on subsequent titles. Over two years after reading this, though, I still haven't picked up the sequels.
