This was so so good!!! One of the best literary fiction novels I've read in a long time - but maybe I'm a bit biased because I am an R. F. Kuang stan!! This was an excellent satirical take on the publishing/book industry and in particular racism in said industries and I literally could not put this book down (I literally stayed up till the wee hours in the morning reading from the glow of my phone) and I kept sharing passages from it with my non-reader girlfriend because it was just such an excellent read. Please, please pick this up when it's released next year - you won't regret it!!
