Tombs: Junji Ito Story Collection by Junji Ito

4.0

I had a good time with this collection, though I’ll say it was kind of a mixed bag. There were stories I loved (Tombs), stories I wish were expanded on more (The Window Next Door) and ones that I just didn’t care for at all (Clubhouse).
Overall, I think the idea of some of these stories were brilliant (mainly Tombs & The Bloody Story of Shirosuna) but the standout was for sure the art - grotesque and thrilling as usual for Junji Ito.

I’d recommend picking this one up but I wouldn’t expect to love all the stories! TBH you probably won’t love but maybe 1/4 of them like me. However, I think you’ll still have fun with them all - I did anyways.
