Dreamer's Cat by Stephen Leather

3.0

This is an early Stephen Leather book. He rattles around in scifi territory, expanding on a premise we've seen from Gibson, concerning entertainment modules containing increasingly violent and sexual content. Not as engaging as his later thriller books. I've only read a couple so far, so I don't know how much more scifi he wrote, though I do see that the did a long series of supernatural books with a single lead character. I'm not much of a fan of the genre, as even in scifi, there are 'rules of the world' that must be observed. Supernatural stories do not have though bounds. (Think Ann Rice's vampires in daylight and those silly sparkly ones in that other silly series.)
