4/5 stars too realistic I almost had mental breakdowns because I relate too much. Especially the part when she was fired from head girl. I swear it was like I was listening to my own thoughts.
The author did a great job of making me angry at the mother because at one point I screamed “I’m going to commit murder” with 3 other people in the room. This is a review that’s rambly and all over the place because I just really like it.
My favorite part was probablyAllid Aled (I don’t know how to spell his name I listened to the audiobook) being demisexual and him not ending up with Francis. It’s just nice to see someone have a platonic and healthy friendship. I believe in platonic soulmates and I think that’s exactly what happened here. Just yay female and male friends who don’t secretly have crushes on each other :DDD
update 2022 i originally read this in 2020 and it was still great the second time around platonic soulmates forever 4.25 it made me anxious but in a way that i think was intentional
