Learning Curve
by Max Monroe
The way that I loved this book. Back in June, I did a reread of the entire Billionaire Bad Boy series, so I was primed and ready to go for this release. It's just everything I could have wanted and more. Max Monroe are really hitting their stride tapping into more angsty and drama filled books while still maintaining all of the humor and fun they are known for.
Finn Hayes is starting college at Dickinson University with a major chip on his shoulder and a grudge he's looking to unload on his English Lit professor, Ty Winslow. You see, he found his dad's journal and what do you know but his abusive father had an entire family he abandoned before changing his name and creating another one to abuse. After finding out he has all these half siblings that are hugely successful, he's out for a bit of destruction.
Scottie is a sweet cheerleader that comes to the university with her high school boyfriend. The guy she thought she loved for those years, is really just an all around jerk, and now she sees him for who he is. A chance meeting in the rain crashing into broody Finn sets them both on a path of will they or won't they. Two broken teens trying to figure out how to live with the baggage they both carry while not knowing what they other has been through before they met.
Finn gets an amazing roommate, Ace Kelly, that worms his way into a friendship and family that he could never imagine. Lots of encounters with the parents since Julia and Lexi are in this book and factor in with the Winslows. Our much loved Bad Boy Billionaires that have created their own families are growing and adding as their children grow and flood us with more characters to accept and love.
This book has the reader running through all the emotions. Happy, sad, anger, devastation, and most importantly, love. So much love is in this story and you're just left feeling so full.
