This novel contains two storylines, Cash & Gemma in additon to Carter & Macie. I really loved Cash & Gemma's story. I was touched by Cash's sweet side hidden beneath the cowboy exterior. What I couldn't stand was Carter/Macie's story.

Carter is a spoilt rotten little boy who needs to grow up. Yes, they do have a HEA, and you get the hint of some growth for his character, but I still wanted to smack him upside the head and give him a time out.

The next book in the series looks to further along other members of the McKay family, which hopefully won't produce any more heros like Carter. *grr*
