This book was absolutely stunning, both in art and writing- I didn’t realize how much I’ve missed Holly Black’s writing style!
These stories definitely made me appreciate and understand Cardan’s layers more, and I loved the scenes from the series told from Cardan’s perspective. I also thought that the art elevated the scenes in the book so well! They were so delicately and elegantly brought to life, I got so caught up in just looking at the art on some of the pages and imagining the live scene in my head. 5/5 stars!
