You Know Me Well by David Levithan, Nina LaCour
3.0

A classic/standard coming of age story about queer youth. Which isn't bad! this is the sort of stuff I lived off of when in my own teen years. It's an important cornerstone of growing up queer when you don't have much support in your personal life, and I'm glad the volume of it is only growing.

It was a little trite, but that's about what I was expecting and I appreciated the thread of affection for the queer community celebrating and being excited throughout it (instead of the easy "homophobia/being gay is so hard" which is very much a reality, but sometimes we just need a positive slice of life where the conflict comes from other areas.)

The ending was very warm and very bright, and I appreciate that so much.
