Spoiler filled review!

Sleep paralysis demon takes over Penelope's body, not to cause pain but pleasure every night she sleeps. She hadn't been to sleep for months since intruders came in and murdered her father, stealing from the home in the process. She couldn't sleep for the longest and now thrives off the sleep and attention from her personal demon Acheron. He's a real demon in hell and Penelope is what they call a wanderer - her soul is able to wander around different areas and realms. Shane had been pushy to make sure Penelope was sleeping and wanted to stay over so bad because he was guilty as he had a hand in her father's murder. He told the intruders the lay out of her home just to get a profit but he didn't know her dad would be in the house. Acheron ended up killing him during his dream state and clearing everything from her house that was of his. She chanted to tether them to one another so that he can be there in her waking world and she could explore the demon world rather than only dreaming of each other. It is possible for her to later give her soul fully to him for her to be immortal.
