I don't quite know what to think about this. On the one hand it is an odd little tale, on the other it does a very good job of following Mr Tedrick after the apparent change of his wife into a fox. There are no great forays into the why or how, but just a general continuing on with life, as the vixen slowly loses human behaviour and desires.
