I am finding it difficult to put into words why I loved this. To me, this is my perfect book, and I *felt* it. It’s terrifying to think just how close this world that Charlotte McConaghy created feels, and the way she describes the hopelessness against the greed of our capitalist world hit me to my core. Though this is a novel about climate change, it is also about grief, about finding your will to live again after tremendous loss, and about love. All of which are touched on so perfectly in this. Adding this immediately to my favourites shelf. I will think about this book for a long time.
