Gillian McAllister really knows how to write about a parent and their child.
This was a very good book. I suggest the audiobook and physical book in tandem otherwise I can see it being a little confusing and losing some of effectiveness.
This tugged on my heartstrings and had me thinking about what I would do.
I also did NOT guess the plot twist and that always kinda makes me happy. Highly recommended!
