moodreader81 's review for:
Marrow
by Trisha Wolfe, Brynne Weaver
I downloaded this after reading (and loving) Butcher and Blackbird, but read it after being disappointed by Leather and Lark. Marrow is very different from both of those books, but has the best parts of B&B.
The overall tone of Marrow is dark. The serial killers aren't mellowed out by high humor...one is actively working through their own psychopathy, bur their love story is believable. I enjoyed both characters immensely and even though there is some insta love, it's not annoying.
I already wish I could read this again!
