Girl, Woman, Other by Bernardine Evaristo
5.0

I don’t know if it’s because this was my first audio book experience but I felt so fully immersed, enmeshed in these women’s lives. With shared points of contact with along their life paths they learn to understand what they’ve had to overcome to become themselves: others. And each is each other’s other. Superbly crafted, a mosaic novel of black women’s stories.
