X-O Manowar Volume 2: Enter Ninjak by Robert Venditti

3.0

While not absolutely blown away by volume one of this series, as I sat thinking about it, I decided I wanted to know what happened when a Visigoth from circa 400 AD crashed to modern day Earth in an advanced suit of alien tech.

This volume advanced the story a little and made it a bit more intriguing. The fever pitch of action continued, supplemented by a bit of conspiracy, aliens, and uneasy alliances.

The art remained about the same in this volume as it was I volume one. There was some nice cover work and the interiors weren't awful, but not absolutely breathtaking either.

Recommended for: those curious about Valiant comics and lovers of sci-fi tinged stories with aliens and their awesome tech.

*- I read this book as digitally downloaded single issues of X-O Manowar #s 5-8
