I enjoyed this book, different than what I’m used to with romances but I liked the supernatural aspect of it and was a good read for October. I liked the main characters I thought they were likeable, however the writing itself was a convenient and predictable for lack of a better word. I think the book would have been better if he actually died and she had to go back to her normal life and deal with that in kind of a “better to have loved and lost than never loved at all” type of deal. Like I feel like that would have been more reflective and deep but I mean it’s a simple romance book so I understand why she didn’t go that route. I thought the nods to other current authors was a neat touch. Overall simple easy read.
