Olympus, Texas by Stacey Swann

4.0

Yall, this book. Swann published this beautiful and heart wrenching family drama in 2021 and I wish I had read it sooner. Despite being more than 300 pages, I finished this in less than 24 hours and experienced such an overwhelming sadness when it was done.

An ode to family dramas, Olympus, Texas explores themes of grief, family transitions and the "sacrifices" we make to give an appearance of control. This is a must read for anyone who loves messy family dynamics and beautiful writing. I loved it so much.
