Immortal in Death by J.D. Robb
4.0
The case in this one is a bit predictable (I suspected who the killer was as soon as the person gets introduced), but this book is all about the characters. So much character development for every single character takes place that the case felt a bit like a second thought most of the time. Not that I’m complaining. I loved every moment.
**Be warned that this volume delves deep into Eve’s abuse as a child and it does so in some detail. It’s not as bad as it could have been, but it’s a tad jarring and highly disturbing.**
