I wanted to get through this book. I really wanted to get through it. Not because it was good, but because it was terrible. But I just couldn't take it anymore. Ayn Rand is too in love with her characters to see any of their flaws. They are flat, boring, and feel more like propaganda megaphones than people. 

I couldn't torture myself any longer.
