The Earl's Christmas Pearl by Megan Frampton

4.0

This was my first Megan Frampton and it was so punny funny! Lady Pearl is left Home Alone when her mother, the duchess forgets her in her rush to pack up the carriage with christmas gifts to return to the country; and Owen the grumpy earl is staying at his godmother's London townhouse because he's there to see a doctor about his injured leg and shoulder. He's a long-suffering brother to 4 sisters who don't understand him and have no patience for his puns so when he meets Pearl who plays along and is happy to take care of him, he falls and falls hard. This was an unexpected delight.
