Princess of Prias by Courtney Davis
So freaking good!
Courtney Davis knocks it out of the park with this book. I wasn't sure what to expect when I started reading it. It sounded like a book that would be right up my alley, but I was trying to stave off a reading slump, so I had to push myself to start reading it. I told myself, "I'll read one chapter and make myself read one chapter a day until I get over this slump." Well, one prologue and six chapters later, I had to force myself to stop reading because I had to get up early the following day! I am always elated when a book exceeds my expectations, as this one did.
Words really do escape me to explain how much I loved this book. It was seriously amazing!! I loved that Elle felt like an outcast her entire life, despite having a pretty successful life. As a child, she'd always dreamed of being a lost princess, only to grow up to discover she was. And Locan is a perfect male lead. The story grabbed me right out the gate--right from the prologue, and it only gets better from there. It moves at a nice fast pace, but not too fast, and is action-packed in addition to the romance. The romance isn't the story's center but nicely enhances the main plot of finding, securing, and returning Elle to her home planet.
You have to read this story for yourself. My only complaint . . . there won't be another one. But the ending was so fulfilling that I can't complain too much. Happy reading!
