If on a Winter's Night a Traveler
by Italo Calvino
Beautiful writing. Multiple stories. The premise is that two readers get caught up reading books that get interrupted just when things get most intriguing, and we read each of the books along with them as they come. Impressive that Calvino did make most of the stories intriguing enough that the real Reader (hullo, Person!) also felt frustrated at the constant interruptions. I liked most of the book very much.
