Gothtober 2024: Read a book with an aged monster
Reread so I can finally read Hell Bent! No quality lost on reread; Bardugo's a master of writing female leads who, in some ways, defy being labeled heroines. The discussion of what academic institutions like Yale represent, for good and for ill, really stuck with me on this go around. The difference in Alex's and Darlington's understandings of that representation especially.
