Sweet Tea and Sympathy by Molly Harper

3.0

2.75 Stars. There were elements about this book I enjoyed (independent heroine, small yown quirkiness, lack of insta-love (
SpoilerHeck, even a lack of love and instead a 'let's see where this goes' at the end was a bit refreshing?
)) and then there were others I just couldn't get behind (H/h spend all of two minutes together, get one totally glossed over bedroom scene, Margot's hot/cold issues - not wanting a relationship where kids are involved yet being upset at Kyle's not feeling ready for a relationship yet/and also wanting someone who wouldn't hate his kids? Margot's also got some warped family history with her mother that never gets unpacked.)
Everything was just a little too potentially painful yet breezily easy or felt wishy washy. Especially after Molly Harpers supernatural series, this was a big letdown! Not sure if I'll check out the rest in this series anytime soon...
