Buffett: The Making of an American Capitalist
by Roger Lowenstein
funny
informative
medium-paced
Buffett is not what I imagined. He is a small town man who has amassed an incomprehensible amount of wealth. He is still as shrewd as Scrooge McDuck, and seems to notice every penny. I enjoyed learning about how he picked stocks, and how he evaluated a companies value in comparison with his price. It is interesting to think one of the most successful trader does what he has with no fancy equipment, without constant monitoring, and with using all publicly available information.
