Earth Wolf & Fire by Maggie Francis

4.0

This was such a cute, cozy read! The relationship between Ulla, an earth witch, and Tate, a sensitive werewolf, was absolutely adorable. This story was both sweet and spicy in the best way, and although it was pretty corny, it definitely hit me in my feels.

Ulla and Tate are fated mates, so the romance was pretty insta-lovey, which is typically not my favorite trope. However, it did feel right with Ulla and Tate's relationship. Also, Ulla's character leaned heavily into the manic pixie dream girl stereotype, which I don't typically enjoy and was a little difficult for me to get past. Also, I will say that this story was not particularly plot-heavy and was very predictable.

The book overall was a very quick read and a great palette cleanser that has gotten me excited and ready to read more paranormal romance novels. I would recommend this book to anyone looking for a cozy paranormal romance read.
