This was definitely a no plot just vibes type of book, but I think that's why I enjoyed it so much. It was marketed as a Sisterhood of Travelling Pants with Asian American main characters, and I definitely got that vibe from reading it. It was just a relaxing book that got me out of a reading slump.
I really enjoyed the different perspectives of the three main characters, and I also really enjoyed how their stories were so different but were all equally interesting. There wasn't a time when I felt like I had to skim over a chapter because I wanted to get to a different character's chapter; I appreciate how Shen made each character's experiences and struggles interesting.
